Swansea Outdoor Fitness was set up January 2019 by Phil Jones a Royal Marine Commando experienced in fitness and health and wellbeing.

With Swansea Outdoor Fitness not only do you get fit and stay healthy but you have fun. From HIIT sessions to active games, every session is different and challenging for all levels. 

About Phil

Having served 10 years as a Royal Marine commando, fitness was an integral part of being a marine. Phil spent most of his time working all around the world in many different environments from Deserts to the Arctic. During which Phil maintained a high level of fitness at all times, this meant training in all situations, different locations with limited facilities and time.

Upon leaving the Forces, Phil wanted to continue this level of training and also to share his knowledge to help others achieve their goals, or to improve their lifestyle.

Alongside Fitness, Health & Wellbeing is also something that Phil is passionate about. It’s a ‘no brainer’ that the release of pressure & stress through exercise is key to feeling happier, brighter and more energetic.



Recently Swansea Outdoor Fitness and Phil Jones, were nominated and won the award for ‘contribution to the Welsh fitness industry in Wales.

Phil was overwhelmed by this and it has driven him even further to help change the health of Wales for the better!
